Akselerasi Proteksi Tenaga Kesehatan Masa Depan: Vaksin HBV sebagai Langkah Preventif Dini Hepatitis B pada Mahasiswa Kesehatan

Mahasiswa kesehatan merupakan kelompok yang berisiko tinggi terpapar virus hepatitis B akibat kontak dengan darah dan cairan tubuh selama praktik klinik. Meskipun efektivitas vaksin rekombinan sangat tinggi, cakupan vaksinasi di kalangan kelompok berisiko ini masih belum optimal. Kegiatan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat bertujuan meningkatkan proteksi dini mahasiswa kesehatan melalui program vaksinasi hepatitis B. Sasaran adalah mahasiswa tingkat satu dan dua di Fakultas Teknologi Laboratorium Medik Universitas Muhammadiyah Palangkaraya sebanyak 88 peserta. Pelaksanaan kegiatan meliputi edukasi mengenai manfaat vaksinasi, skrining dan pemberian vaksin dan pemantauan KIPI. Evaluasi dilakukan berdasarkan cakupan vaksinasi lengkap dan keamanan pelaksanaan program. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa seluruh peserta berhasil menyelesaikan rangkaian vaksinasi hepatitis B (100%). Tidak ditemukan KIPI derajat berat maupun reaksi anafilaksis hanya nyeri pada area penyuktikan (3,41%) dan demam atau subfebris (1,14%) serta tidak ditemukan kemerahan atau pembengkakan pada lokasi penyuntikan, sakit kepala atau pusing, lemas atau kelelahan maupun reaksis sistemik lainnya. Program vaksinasi menunjukkan profil tolerabilitas yang baik selama pemantauan serta mendukung penerapan program vaksinasi sebagai upaya proteksi dini.
