Maternal health is an important indicator of community health status and requires community-based empowerment support. Masayung cadres (Rama Sayang Biyung) play a strategic role in assisting mothers at the community level; however, their capacity still needs to be strengthened to optimize their role. This community service activity aimed to enhance the capacity of Masayung cadres through community-based maternal health education. A participatory approach was applied, consisting of preparation, implementation of education, evaluation, and follow-up stages. Educational activities were conducted through interactive lectures, group discussions, and maternal assistance simulations. Evaluation was carried out using pre-test and post-test to measure the improvement in cadres’ knowledge. The results showed an increase in the average knowledge score from 62.5 in the pre-test to 99.5 in the post-test, representing a 59.2% improvement. In addition, cadres demonstrated increased participation, self-confidence, and health communication skills. This activity was concluded to be effective in strengthening the capacity of Masayung cadres as change agents and partners of health professionals in supporting community-based maternal health.
