Peningkatan Breast Cancer Awarenes melalui Aplikasi Mybuddies pada Wanita Usia Subur

Kanker payudara masih menjadi salah satu masalah kesehatan utama pada perempuan, sehingga diperlukan upaya inovatif dalam meningkatkan pengetahuan masyarakat mengenai pencegahan dan deteksi dini. Tujuan kegiatan ini adalah untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan masyarakat mengenai pencegahan dan deteksi dini kanker payudara melalui edukasi berbasis aplikasi digital. Edukasi berbasis aplikasi digital menjadi salah satu strategi yang dapat menjangkau masyarakat secara lebih luas dan fleksibel. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan sebagai bagian dari program pengabdian masyarakat dengan menggunakan aplikasi MyBuddies untuk memberikan edukasi kepada 30 responden. Pengetahuan peserta diukur sebelum dan sesudah edukasi, dan hasil analisis menggunakan uji Paired Sample T-Test menunjukkan adanya peningkatan rata-rata skor dari 24,50 menjadi 26,50, dengan selisih sebesar dua poin yang signifikan secara statistik (t = -5,022; p < 0,001). Temuan ini menegaskan bahwa aplikasi MyBuddies efektif dalam meningkatkan pengetahuan peserta mengenai pencegahan dan deteksi dini kanker payudara, sekaligus memperlihatkan potensi besar pemanfaatan teknologi digital sebagai media edukasi kesehatan dalam konteks pengabdian masyarakat.
