Abstract

Based on the data, the coverage of pregnant women's services and K6 antenatal care visits in South Lampung Regency tends to fluctuate, where in 2022, the percentage of K6 visits reached 52.6%, increased in 2023 by 80% and in 2024 there were 14,751 mothers or 70.5% making K6 visits, this percentage has not reached the target of 100%. The purpose of the study was to determine the implementation of the K6 antenatal care visit in South Lampung Regency. The type of research is qualitative, descriptive research design with a case study approach, the number of respondents is 6 people consisting of 1 head of the South Lampung District Health Office, 1 head of the Binkesmas Division, 1 MCH sub-coordinator, 3 MCH program holders at puskesmas. Data collection by conducting interviews and Focus Group Discussion (FGD) and data analysis using Root Cause Analysis (RCA). The results of the study obtained recording and reporting of antenatal care visits K6 from the network is not complete and optimal is a priority problem, while the root causes of the problem are: Low competence of network officers (BPM and clinics) in recording and reporting ANC, limited computer equipment and internet access for recording and reporting in the network, lack of standardized logbooks / recording forms and educational materials and limited budget for network monitoring and evaluation. It is expected that the health office conducts   simple recording training and technical guidance related to ANC K6 reporting standards, interventions through the preparation of simple reporting formats that are easy for networks to use, both in print and digitally, providing physical reporting logbooks that can be collected periodically, and encouraging the use of mobile devices to send simple reports through platforms such as WhatsApp, optimizing the use of available funds for priority activities such as network training and procurement of reporting materials.
