Edukasi dan Pendampingan Strategi Manajemen Keperawatan dalam Penanganan Pasien Trauma

Trauma merupakan salah satu penyebab utama morbiditas dan mortalitas yang membutuhkan penanganan cepat, tepat, dan terstruktur di Instalasi Gawat Darurat (IGD). RSUD Lapaloi Maros menghadapi berbagai tantangan dalam manajemen keperawatan trauma, seperti keterbatasan sarana, tingginya beban kerja perawat, serta variasi kompetensi dalam penerapan standar kegawatdaruratan. Kondisi tersebut mendorong pelaksanaan program edukasi dan pendampingan guna meningkatkan kapasitas perawat dalam menangani pasien trauma. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengevaluasi pengaruh edukasi dan pendampingan terhadap pengetahuan, keterampilan, dan kualitas pelayanan keperawatan di IGD RSUD Lapaloi Maros. Desain penelitian menggunakan quasi-eksperimental pre–post dengan pendekatan mixed-methods. Data kuantitatif diperoleh melalui pengukuran skor pretest–posttest (n=21) dan observasi keterampilan, sedangkan data kualitatif dikumpulkan melalui diskusi serta wawancara selama pendampingan. Hasil menunjukkan peningkatan rata-rata skor pengetahuan dari 7,09 menjadi 8,33. Observasi juga menunjukkan perbaikan pada penerapan pendekatan ABCDE, akurasi triase, kepatuhan SOP trauma, penggunaan komunikasi SBAR, kesiapan alat, dan dokumentasi. Hambatan yang masih muncul meliputi keterbatasan SDM pada jam sibuk, ketersediaan USG FAST yang belum optimal, dan waktu tunggu radiologi. Secara keseluruhan, edukasi dan pendampingan terbukti efektif dalam meningkatkan pengetahuan serta praktik manajemen keperawatan trauma di IGD RSUD Lapaloi Maros.
