Hubungan Kepatuhan Pengobatan dengan Efikasi Diri pada Pasien Diabetes Mellitus

Diabetes Mellitus (DM) merupakan penyakit kronis yang memerlukan kepatuhan pengobatan dan kemampuan pasien dalam mengelola penyakitnya. Efikasi diri penting dalam meningkatkan keyakinan pasien untuk menjalani pengobatan secara teratur. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan kepatuhan pengobatan dengan efikasi diri pada pasien Diabetes Mellitus. Desain penelitian menggunakan cross sectional. Teknik pengambilan sampel pada penelitian ini adalah purposive sampling dengan kriteria inklusi pasien DM tipe 2 lebih dari 6 bulan, berusia 38-78 tahun, mengkonsumsi obat anti diabetes, tidak dalam perawatan di RS, bersedia menjadi responden. Jumlah sampel penelitian ini adalah 93 orang . Instrumen yang digunakan yaitu kuesioner medication adherence report scale-10 (MARS-10) untuk mengukur kepatuhan pengobatan dan general self efficacy (GSE) untuk mengukur efikasi diri. Analisis data menggunakan uji chi square dengan tingkat signifikansi α = 0,05. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan terdapat hubungan antara kepatuhan pengobatan dengan efikasi diri pada pasien DM dengan p-value = 0,0017 (p<0,05). Pasien dengan kepatuhan pengobatan tinggi memiliki efikasi diri yang tinggi; sedangkan pasien dengan kepatuhan pengobatan rendah memiliki efikasi diri yang rendah. Kesimpulan penelitian ini semakin baik kepatuhan pengobatan pasien, maka semakin baik efikasi diri pasien dalam mengelola penyakit diabetes mellitus.
