Manual documentation of nursing care requires considerable time, increases administrative workload, and may lead to recording errors, potentially reducing nursing students' focus on clinical learning and patient interaction. This study aims to develop a Mobile Pediatric Nursing Care application to support nursing care documentation during clinical practice. This study used a Research and Development (R&D) design consisting of user needs analysis, application design, development, and testing. The participants were 36 nursing students undergoing clinical practice in a hospital, the study used purposive sampling to select nursing students as application users. The data analysis plan included descriptive analysis and a paired-samples t-test to evaluate the mobile application, data processing involved editing, coding, scoring, and tabulation. Descriptive statistical analysis using frequencies and percentages was conducted to summarize user acceptance across the TAM dimensions. Application evaluation used the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM), including Perceived Usefulness, Attitude Toward Using, Behavioral Intention to Use, and Actual System Use. Inclusion criteria were nursing students undergoing clinical practice who used the application. The Mobile Pediatric Nursing Care application was developed according to user needs and provided features for systematic pediatric nursing care documentation. The application facilitated documentation, patient data management, and clinical learning. The application was considered feasible as a digital learning and documentation tool for nursing students. The Mobile Pediatric Nursing Care application was successfully developed as a technology-based innovation to support efficient and systematic pediatric nursing care documentation and clinical learning among nursing students.
