Abstract

Hipertensi merupakan penyakit tidak menular yang menjadi penyebab utama morbiditas dan mortalitas global. Kondisi ini ditandai dengan peningkatan tekanan darah ≥140/90 mmHg secara persisten dan sering bersifat tanpa gejala. Prevalensi hipertensi terus meningkat, mencapai lebih dari 1,3 miliar orang di dunia, termasuk di Indonesia. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengatahui faktor yang berhubungan dengan kejadian hipertensi. Penelitian ini merupakan literature review dengan pendekatan PICO. Pencarian artikel dilakukan melalui PubMed, ScienceDirect, dan Google Scholar menggunakan kata kunci “hypertension”, “blood pressure”, dan “risk factors”. Dari 99 artikel yang ditemukan periode 2020-2025, 10 artikel memenuhi kriteria inklusi. Analisis menunjukkan bahwa hipertensi dipengaruhi oleh faktor usia, status sosial ekonomi, obesitas, aktivitas fisik rendah, pola makan tidak sehat, gangguan tidur, stres, dan kondisi lingkungan perkotaan. Faktor-faktor tersebut berinteraksi dan meningkatkan risiko hipertensi secara signifikan. Hipertensi merupakan kondisi multifaktorial yang memerlukan pendekatan komprehensif melalui pencegahan berbasis gaya hidup sehat, pengendalian stres, serta dukungan lingkungan yang kondusif.
