Abstract

Perawat ICU dan NICU merupakan kelompok profesional yang rentan terhadap tekanan emosional, karena secara terus-menerus terpapar penderitaan, kematian, dan situasi traumatik. Kondisi ini dalam jangka panjang dapat menyebabkan compassion fatigue. Kualitas hidup profesional mencakup compassion satisfaction (CS) dan compassion fatigue (CF). Dukungan sosial dipandang sebagai faktor protektif yang dapat mendukung kesejahteraan psikologis perawat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara dukungan sosial dengan kualitas hidup profesional pada perawat ICU dan NICU. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain kuantitatif korelasional. Sebanyak 55 perawat ICU dan NICU menjadi responden melalui teknik total sampling. Instrumen yang digunakan yaitu Multidimensional Scale of Perceived Social Support (MSPSS) dan Professional Quality of Life Scale (ProQOL v-5). Kedua instrumen telah teruji validitas dan reliabilitasanya dalam versi asli maupun adaptasi Indonesia. Analisis data menggunakan Spearman Rank. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sebagian besar perawat memiliki CS kategori sedang, burnout dan STS pada kategori rendah. Tingkat dukungan sosial dalam kategori tinggi, dengan family support tinggi, friend support tinggi, serta significant other dalam kategori tinggi. Namun, uji statistik menunjukkan tidak terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara dukungan sosial dan kualitas hidup profesional (p > 0,05). Hal ini dapat terjadi karena tingginya persepsi dukungan sosial belum tentu selaras dengan pengalaman emosional aktual di tempat kerja, dan adanya variabel lain yang tidak diteliti seperti beban kerja, budaya organisasi, dan strategi koping.
