Depresi Remaja Dalam Perilaku Pola Asuh Keluarga

Depresi remaja menjadi isu kesehatan mental yang menjadi fokus perhatian dunia. Kondisi ini terjadi dikarenakan tantangan yang akan dialami oleh remaja dari berbagai lini kehidupan. Berbagai faktor dapat berkontribusi terhadap kejadian munculnya gejala depresi pada usia remaja, salah satu faktor tersebut adalah pola asuh orang tua. Orang tua sebagai lingkungan terdekat menghadirkan peran penting dalam pembentukan emosi dan keseimbangan psikologis remaja. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis hubungan antara pola asuh orang tua dan kejadian depresi pada remaja. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain cross-sectional. Sampel berjumlah 130 remaja yang dipilih secara purposive. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah kuesioner Parental Authority Questionnaire (PAQ) untuk mengukur persepsi pola asuh, dan Beck Depression Inventory-II (BDI-II) untuk mengukur tingkat depresi. Analisis data dilakukan menggunakan uji Chi-Square. Hasil analisis menunjukkan terdapat hubungan yang bermakna secara statistik antara pola asuh orang tua dan tingkat depresi pada remaja yang ditandai dengan nilai p < 0,05 (χ² = 12,67; p = 0,013). Pola asuh otoriter dan permisif cenderung mnghadirkan depresi pada remaja dalam rentang ringan sampai sedang. Remaja yang memiliki kejadian tidak depresi sampai ringan mengalami pola asuh demokratis. Terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara pola asuh orang tua dengan kejadian depresi pada remaja. Hasil ini menggarisbawahi pentingnya edukasi kepada orang tua tentang pengasuhan yang suportif dan demokratis guna meminimalkan risiko depresi pada remaja. Peran dosen dan tenaga pendidik dalam literasi kesehatan mental keluarga sangat penting untuk menciptakan generasi muda yang sehat secara emosional.
